2007 Sponsors

Ladies and Gentlemen: 

1. We are pleased to offer you the opportunity to sponsor the Twentieth Annual Southwest Oilman’s Tennis Tournament (SWOTT) which will be held from September 11-13, 2008 in Midland, Texas.  In years past, this event has been a great chance to have some fun while interacting with oil and gas professionals from across the Southwest.  In the last decade, over $30,000 has been donated by SWOTT to support youth tennis in Midland.  For those of you who have supported SWOTT in the past, we sincerely thank you and look forward to a continued relationship.  If you haven’t participated in SWOTT, the 2008 tournament is an excellent opportunity to develop new friendships and strengthen business contacts in a relaxed, enjoyable environment.

    

   SWOTT will kick off on Thursday, the 11^th with registration and play beginning around noon.  Play will continue through Saturday, the 13^th, at two locations, the Racquet Club and Midland Country Club.  Social events are planned for Thursday and Friday evenings and will feature entertainment, food, drinks, and drawings for prizes. The tournament is open to all persons who derive a majority of their income from production, sales or services directly related to the oil and gas industry.  Retirees are also invited.

    

   Our sponsorship is divided into four categories that include certain privileges for our sponsors.

    

   1. Regular Sponsorship = $400 and up.  Four people may attend all tournament hospitalities, including the above-mentioned social events. Player entry fees are not included in a regular sponsorship.

    

   2. Major Sponsorship = $650 and up.  Four people and one sponsored player with player’s spouse/guest may attend all tournament hospitalities, including the above-mentioned social events. The sponsored player’s spouse/guest can play at no additional charge.

    

   3. Grand Sponsorship = $1,000 and up.  Four people and two sponsored players with player’s spouse/guest may attend all tournament hospitalities, including the above-mentioned social events.  A sponsored player’s spouse/guest can play at no additional charge.

    

   4. Platinum Sponsorship = $2,500 and up.  Four people and four sponsored players with player’s spouse/guest may attend all tournament hospitalities, including the above-mentioned social events.  A sponsored player’s spouse/guest can play at no additional charge.  Banner privileges for platinum sponsors only.
   
    

   As a Tournament Sponsor, your company will be listed in the tournament brochure distributed to all players and your name prominently posted on a Sponsor’s board at the tournament site.  All Sponsors are invited to be spectators at any of the matches during tournament play.

There are a few ways to become a SWOTT sponsor.  Click on the link HARD COPY OF SPONSORSHIP APPLICATION FORM (PDF).  Print and complete this form and send to the indicated address with your check made payable to SWOTT – 2008 (Southwest Oilman’s Tennis Tournament).  Another option is to click on ON-LINE SPONSORSHIP APPLICATION and register on-line with a credit card (Visa and MasterCard only).  Completion of the application on paper or electronically will assure a spot for your player(s) under the appropriate sponsorship.  The player’s forms will be sent once the sponsorship forms are received with your payment.

For your company’s benefit, we request that sponsorship fees be submitted as soon as possible. Sponsorships received after August 22^nd may miss the printing deadline for the tournament program but will be included in an addendum to the program.  Any questions that you may have regarding the tournament can be answered by any of the Committee Members listed on this letterhead.
